3 Ways to Practice Self Care in February

February is the month of love, so why don’t you spend some time loving yourself. There are tons of way you can practice self care, but I’m going to share some fun ways you can in the month of love.

1. Take yourself on a date

Maybe you’re single, maybe you’re not. Either way, if you’ve never taken yourself on a date…it’s a must. Not only will this allow you to step outside of your comfort zone if this isn’t something you do regularly, but it will give you uninterrupted you time. Maybe you’re not feeling bold enough to go to a movie alone (although, are movie theaters even still a thing) but maybe you can take yourself to get some Starbucks and get a pedicure, or go to your favorite place to eat (counter service, unless you’re feeling extra brave). Maybe you even take a day trip to a new place and explore solo, on your terms.

2. Buy yourself some chocolate, the day AFTER Valentine’s Day

Allow yourself to enjoy some sweets, it’s all about balance. But, save some money by getting its after Valentines Day. If you’re afraid your favs will be out of stock, get some before or even buy something from Amazon. Better yet, support a local bakery and get some delicious desserts.

3. Have a Galentine’s Day (or bro-entine, if that’s a thing)

Galentine’s Day activities seem more popular than ever, and aren’t just for single ladies. I’m married and have been to a handful this month, I also hosted a Galentine’s Tea Party, and my first Wellness Weekend is Galentine’s themed. Grab your friends, grab some snacks, have a spa night and just show each other the love!
